Solar Lentigines
Solar lentigenes are brown spots 1 cm or bigger in diameter, appearing usually on the face and back of the hands.
Solar lentigenes are consequent of excessive sunlight exposure.
They are found in individuals over 40 years of age, especially if they have a long history of working outdoors.
Solar lentigenes is best controlled with the regular use of good broad spectrum sunscreens, sun avoidance and lightening creams.
Chemical peeling and BBL may offer additional benefits.
