Smartxide2 Dot/RF Fractional CO2 laser Skin Resurfacing
The Smartxide2 HiScan Dot/RF is improved version over the Smartxide Dot system which is a Fractional CO2 laser by Deka.
The Smartxide2 HiScan Dot/RF is indicated for:
- Scars ( Atrophic, Hypertrophic and Keloid)
- Acne Scars
- Enlarged Pores
- Total Rejuvenation ( signs of photoaging, wrinkles, fine lines, dull skin etc)
- Pigmentation lesions
- Skin tightening
- Neck lifting
- Periocular lifting ( eyelid lifting)
- Various dermatological lesions ( moles, skin tags, oil cysts, keratosis etc)
This system combines the CO2 laser and RF to merge the ablative effects of the laser beam and the nonablative effects of Radiofrequency for skin resurfacing.
The Radiofrequency enhances the effects of fractional CO2 laser treatment by remodelling tissue in-depth, toning skin laxity and stimulating fibroblast activity to produce new collagen.
The resultant effect is unparalleled in terms of correcting skin imperfections such as scars and counteracting signs of aging such as wrinkles and skin flabbiness.
In addition, the SmartStack technology provides precise control of depth of laser penetration on the skin, enabling the energy to be delivered into the deeper dermis layer for collagen remodelling and immediate shrinkage (tightening), with reduced redness and risk of burn compared with other fractional CO2 laser.
It reduces risk of PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) and also contributes to rapid recovery and enhances patient’s comfort.
